    'T' Punctures: Extensive largely used collection mounted on leaves, with Tablets to 10/- including 10d used block of 9 and plate no. block of 4, 2/6d used pair and 10/- mint; Sidefaces including 9d used block of 4, large range of Pictorial issues, both London Prints and Melbourne Printings showing various sizes of 'T' punctures, errors including double or incomplete punctures, 2d used on first day of use (1 NOV 02), and a fine group of covers including ½d printed matter rate, 1d and 2d on inland covers at single or double rates, and 1907 registered cover. An exceptional lot (89 plus 10 covers)

    'T' Punctures: Mint and (mostly) used collections on leaves and hagners, showing various sizes of puncture used and the stamps found, with 1892-99 Tablets ½d (1), 5d (2), 6d (3), 10d (4), 1/-, 2/6d, also Melbourne printings 1/- (3); Sideface 8d, 9d (5); Pictorial London Prints 2½d (2), 3d (3), 4d, 5d (2), 6d, and Melbourne Printings (various wmks and perfs) ½d (3), 1d (9), 2d (23), 3d (8), 4d (3). Few multiples, some with small faults, but generally good to fine M (15) and U (75)

    1905-11 Watermark Crown over Double-lined A (inverted) Perf 12½ 1d Pictorial punctured 'T' (8 x 7 holes) marginal block of 4 fresh MUH, slight bend through left-hand pair

    'T' Punctures: 1905 (23 Dec) OHMS parcel label for Government Printing Office used on parcel piece from Hobart to Des Moines, Iowa, 23 Dec 1905. Franked with 5d Pictorial (5 x 6 holes) and 1/- Tablet 2, 5 x 6 holes) tied by Hobart cds, representing 2/5d for a parcel to U.S.A. weighing up to 3lbs 10oz. Toning on left half of address label not affecting adhesives, a rare official franking

    'T' Punctures: 1d Pictorial punctured 'T' (5 x 5 holes) used by Chief Secretary's Office on 1903 (5 Feb) OHMS unsealed cover from Hobart to Campbell Town, and with 'DEFICIENT POSTAGE/FINE _______' though no evidence of any tax being paid, 1d being the correct rate for printed matter rate, very fine

    'T' Punctures: 1d Pictorial punctured 'T' (6 x 7 holes) used on 1903 Registration of Births and Deaths form from Macquarie Plains to Hamilton, the form marked 'T' in oval with 1d postage due, and the stamp added on arrival at Hamilton on Oct 9, very fine

    'T' Punctures: 2d Pictorial punctured 'T' (7 x 6 holes) used on 1903 (9 Dec) Registration of Births and Deaths form from Hamilton to Macquarie Plains, where the form was completed and returned with 1d Pictorial (6 x 7 holes) cancelled at Hamilton on 19 Dec. It would seem that Hamilton had no forms and one was supplied from Macquarie Plains. Some minor splitting along folds however an unusual usage

    'T' Punctures: 2½d Pictorial punctured 'T' (6 x 5 holes) used on OHMS cover from Launceston to Bangalore, India, slight damage to back flap otherwise a fine overseas usage

    'T' Punctures: 4d Pictorial (6 x 6 holes) with inverted punctures used on 1907 (6 Sep) OHMS cover (223mm x 103mm) from Statistical and Registration Dept. to Forth cancelled Hobart cds, fine and scarce

    'T' Punctures: 6d Tablet punctured 'T' (5 x 5 holes) used on large part OHMS Department of Public Health front from Hobart to Launceston. Fine treble-inland rate cover, and a rare usage of the 6d Tablet punctured 'T'

    'T' Punctures: 9d Sideface punctured 'T' (6 x 6 holes?, misplaced) used on Public Works Department OHMS address label affixed to parcel piece, used from Hobart to Launceston, March 1909. Endorsed 'Parcel Post', 9d represents the parcel rate up to 2lbs. Fine and very scarce

    Estimate: $150T Realised Price : $115

    'T' Punctures: 1d Pictorial (7 x 6 holes) with stamp doubly perforated along top, used on 1911 (28 Mar) large wrapper for 'The Agricultural Gazette' to London, redirected to Scotland, tied by Hobart cds. Unusual, and fine for such a large piece

     

    Lot 570
    Estimate: $200T Realised Price : $200

    'T' Punctures: 2d (slightly damaged) and 6d Pictorials punctured 'T' (6 x 7 holes) used on 1913 (17 Jun) parcel tag from the Geological Survey of Tasmania, representing the 8d rate for an interstate parcel weighing 1lb. Believed to be the only 6d Pictorial punctured 'T' on a postal article

    'T' Punctures: 4d Pictorial punctured 'T' (5 x 6 holes) used on 1913(2 Jul) OHMS registered cover from Crown Solicitor, from Hobart to Forth, with black registration label. Very fine and scarce
