    1980s-2000s CTO issues in Stamp Promotion Council packets including Stamp Collecting Month, Stamp Gang, and plain packs (as distributed to schools). Also a quantity of loose stamps, some duplication and good variety (50+ packs plus 400+ stamps)

    1988-2003 accumulation of CTO sheets and large blocks, including 1988 Living Together 1c, 53c, 63c and 68c in blocks of 40, 1992 Space, Vineyards, Australia Day, 1993 Christmas Island, World Heritage, Parliament, 1994 Bunyip, IYOF, 1995 Australia Day, 1996 Christmas Island, Planes, World Heritage, 1999 AAT, Polly Woodside, Small Pond, 2002 Thai Joint Issue, Christmas Island, 2003 Rugby, etc. Of great use for research into the Australia Post CTO products (41 sheets/panes/large blocks)

    Early to Mid 1990s issues CTO with GPO MELBOURNE dated datestamps few different types represented), mostly in blocks of 4 or larger (few 100s)

    Late 1980s CTO Plain Circle Cancellation, thought to be an unacceptable trial to cancel left over stocks of mint stamps for distribution to promote youth stamp collecting. Comprising 1982-86 Reptiles and Amphibians 2c and 5c blocks of 8, and 75c blocks of 4 (2), 1983-88 Butterflies 4c and 35c blocks of 12, and 35c block of 24 (partially defaced), and 1986 36c Wildlife se-tenant block of 10. Scarce material. (In 1994 Australia Post adopted the practice of cancelling surplus mint material with undated GPO Melbourne Vic 3000 cancels) (72)

    1970-75 Floral Coils 7c Sturt's Desert Pea block of 4 cancelled by wavy line machine cancellation 19 NOV 74 and with full OG. Only several such blocks are recorded, and an explanation for their existence has not been forthcoming and the status is uncertain. BW 535b, cat AU$1200

    1972 Olympic Games 7c Rowing upper left corner block of 8 (4 x 2) with varieties 1/2 ('Retouch to Munich 1972'), 1/3 (Circular White Ring on Dark Blue Band') and 2/1 ('Retouch to tral of Australia'). fine MUH, BW 602d,e,f, and amongst the scarcest of decimal plate varieties and a rare positional block, undercatalogued at AU$720+

    1980 National Stamp Week 22c left-hand pane of 50 with all selvedge removed, the fourth horizontal showing a paper join variety affecting all units. From the same sheet as the previous lot. Light tone spots on some units including the variety stamps, BW 878ba, cat AU$400+

    1995 'The World Down Under' 45c Giant Trevally design error 'Misplaced Die-cuts 6mm to the right' used on small piece with machine cancel. Believed to be from a booklet rather than a roll, and showing a small portion of a marginal inscription to the right that is normally trimmed off the booklet panes. Rare, it is not certain that any other examples survive. BW 1894b, cat AU$100

    2000 Australian Olympic Games Gold Medallists: 45c Grant Hackett digitally-printed sheetlet of 10 error 'Printing Inverted' resulting in gross misplacement of perforations (the printing was made on pre-perforated sheets), fresh MUH and very rare. BW 2356c cat AU$3000
