    Gratuitous Lettercards: 1916(?) usage with 'A.I.F. EMBARKING' scene on reverse, illegible datestamp and addressed to Port Adelaide; and 1918 (30 May) usage of type with patriotic verse on reverse on pale buff cardstock with 'A.I.F./Passed by Censor No. __' in purple, addressed to Adelaide (some toning). Also a very fine unused example of the latter type on thin buff stock (3)

    1942-45 Australian Forces in Papua and New Guinea, collection with Proud allocations annotated on reverse, stated all different allocations, many scarcer such as FPO 23 (Cape Pus), 160 (D'Iole Island - 'Not Seen'), Unit Postal Stations (365, 367 (Summit), 387, 390, 393, 394, 395, 403, 406, rubber AC 36 (2), AC37, N31 (3d franking indicating Proud's allocation to Qld wrong), S93, Y17, etc., several 'not Seen', several with no definite location, three with Papua adhesives (? one with McCracken Pictorials 1d and 2d), variable condition (approximately 100 covers, a few registered)

    Documents: Group of papers for Peter Kenworthy Clark, who enlisted in October 1915 as a gunner in Field Artillery Brigade 2, comprising his Certificate of Discharge, his Soldier's Pay book, and a Railway Warrant 2nd Class for free travel from Melbourne to his home in Mildura. A fine lot, which includes details of Gunner Clark's service
