    Melbourne Hazards: 1935-73 group that suffered in the mail, 1959 cover handstamp 'Damaged by fire in letter receiver', 1967 Mail Exchange fire cover with handstamp and letter, 1935 'Mutilated By', and 1961 'Accidentally Damaged by Stamp Cancelling Machine', 1958 with label 'This cover was torn in transit ... ', c1960 and 1970 'Received Torn', 1973 'Damaged by water', also 1960 with 'Stamp Fallen Off' and 19th century type oval 'Received Open', the handstamps fine to superb (9 covers plus letter)

    Western Australia: Coongan (PO 1912-42) 1926 airmail cover to Perth with light cds tying Single Wmk 4½d KGV, with light Roeburne cds at left. A stronger strike of the cds on piece realised AU$85 at a 2018 Melbourne auction

    Express Delivery: 1938-45 4d Express Delivery Fee covers, most franked at 6d rate for 2d letter rate, good range of origins/destinations, mostly with manuscript Express Delivery endorsements, one 1939 Melbourne to Sydney with boxed 'EXPRESS/SERVICE (IV)' in violet, 1945 Melbourne to Mildura franked 6½d (2½d letter rate) with unframed 'EXPRESS DELIVERY/SERVICE (IV)' in violet, 1938 airmail from Sydney to Melbourne franked 10d (2d letter rate + 3d air fee + 1d late fee + 4d express delivery), and 1942 cover from Melbourne to Sydney franked 7d with unframed 'EXPRESS DELIVERY/SERVICE (IV)' in violet (2d letter rate + 1d late fee + 4d express delivery); and 1949 oversize airmail cover from Sydney to Coonabarabran franked 4/4½d. Several covers stained on reverse by poor storage, some other faults however a fine group (10 covers)

    Express Delivery: 1935-51 4d Express Delivery Fee period, with 1945 cover franked 6½d for letter rate, 1944 airmail covers Brisbane to Sydney (2), 1948 airmail cover Sydney to Melbourne, each franked 9½d, and 1942 registered cover from Sydney to Mt. Victoria franked 9½d. Also 1949(?) cover from Granville to Sydney franked 9d with boxed 'NOT IN ATTENDANCE/?DELIVER ORD. MAIL' in red and 'EXPRESS DELIVERY SERVICE/EXPIRED. NORMAL DELIVERY' in violet, and with 'EXPRESS/SYDNEY clock ds in red on reverse. One cover roughly opened and two with flap faults (6)

    Express Delivery: 1959-66 1/3d Express Delivery Fee period, with 1961 cover from Adelaide to Richmond (Vic) franked 1/8d, 1959 1/7d registration envelope from Goulburn to Pymble (NSW) uprated 1/3d, and 1965 airmail cover from Brisbane to England franked 3/6d (2/3d airmail plus 1/3d express delivery), and with boxed 'EXPRESS DELIVERY PAID'. Some small faults however scarce (3)
