    GENERAL, COLLECTIONS

    Lot 1
    Estimate: $180 Realised Price : $135

    British Commonwealth: 1930s to 1980s accumulation of mostly mint issues, many in multiples of varying size, strength in Pakistan 1948-50, South Africa, Burma, Malta 1950 Princess in imprint/plate no. blocks of 8, 1937 Coronation omnibus (incomplete), 1981 Royal Wedding omnibus, etc, also 1960s Australia including 2/3d Empire Games in imprint block of 9. Mostly MUH, few faults but generally fine (approx 700)

           

    Lot 2
    Estimate: $60

    Pacific Islands: Largely MUH range of 1960s to 1980s issues for Fiji, Pitcairn Island and Samoa plus a few Cook Islands, incomplete for period covered and with some issues in blocks, some duplication (approx 400)

     

    Lot 3
    Estimate: $80

    Christmas Island, Cocos (Keeling) Islands and Nauru: accumulation of 1960s to 1980s issues, few on pages but mostly loose, including some issues in blocks and including a few stamp packs, Christmas and Cocos probably more or less complete and with some duplication, largely MUH, high face value (approx 550)

       

    Lot 4
    Estimate: $60 Realised Price : $75

    1930s to 1950s cover accumulation, mostly addressed to Australia, origins include Fiji, Greece, Malaya, Scandinavia, USA and GB, mostly commercial but also including FDCs. Variable quality but some useful material included (78 covers)

        

    Lot 5

    Diverse range of world covers, including 1919 tatty cover from Peking to Melbourne, and similarly tatty registered cover from Germany to Melbourne, 1915 cover from POW Camp in Germany, group of 1940's Australian meter covers, Austria 19th century postal stationery, and GB KEVII 6d block of 6 and pair on parcel tag to Melbourne. Some faults (24 covers)

        

    Lot 6
    Estimate: $40

    'The Commonwealth Collection of Silver Jubilee First Day Covers' prepared by the Royal Commonwealth Society in special silver binder and containing a collection of 1977 Silver Jubilee FDC's (52)
