Generally fine and a difficult group to assemble (34)

    Australia World War I: Published by Monac and featuring an infant, the reverse shows a patriotic design with space for the message, including an illustration of HMAS 'Sydney', very fine and scarce

    Picture Postcards: Belgium - group of six folders or booklets containing bound single-colour or multicoloured postcards with views of different cities or towns, comprising Brussels (12 cards), Antwerp (11 cards), Iseghem (10 cards), Roeselare (8 cards), Tournai (12 cards), and Kortrijk (12 cards). Folders with some wear or minor fading, however contents of all are fine. A scarce and attractive group (Six booklets with 65 cards)

    Picture Postcards: France - Range of early 20th century postcards featuring French buildings, statuary and artwork, mostly Paris but some regional. Some with peripheral damage and others with small faults but many are fine (54)

    Picture Postcards: France - group of folders with bound postcards featuring various French cities and towns, comprising Paris (24 cards), Amiens (20 cards), Amiens Cathedral (24 cards), Audruigo (20 cards), Bergues (10 cards), Dunkerque-Malo (18 cards), Hazebrouck (20 cards), Roubaix (10 cards), and Tourcoing (10 cards). Folders with some faults, but contents fine and an interesting lot (9 folders with 156 cards)

         

    Lot 28
    Estimate: $100

    Picture Postcards: World War I - four sets of bound postcards showing scenes of war damage at Lille (two folders, one with ten folded postcards, other identical but incomplete and toning damage with seven postcards), Albert (12 postcards bound in with perforated margin), and Ypres (24 postcards). Some damage to interleaving in latter two booklets but cards are fine. An interesting group (4 booklets with 55 cards)
