    1852 Scinde Dawks: ½a White used on small piece, indistinct cancel and with minor stains and some soiling. SG S1, cat £3000

    Estimate: $300 Realised Price : $230

    1852 Scinde Dawks: ½a White cut-to-shape (design touched at right), indistinctly cancelled but with strong embossing. SG S1, cat £3000

    Estimate: $250 Realised Price : $1,050

    1854 Lithographs small collection, largely used, mounted on pages, with ½a Blue Die I (17 including a pair, and one noted as indigo shade), ½a Blue Die II (2, one unused), ½a Blue Die III (7 including pair), 1a Red strip of 4 and pair (both touched in places), 1a Red Die II (2, one unused), and 1a Red Die III, 4a Blue and Red cut-to-shape; also 2a Green Typo strip of 3 cut into at base. Some faults but many fine stamps included (39)

    Estimate: $120 Realised Price : $525

    1854 ½a Blue Lithograph Die I on 1856 (28 Jul) small native cover tied by '143' in diamond of bars (Hooshyarpore), with Amritsur arrival backstamp; and ½a Blue Die II on 1855(?) cancelled '229' in diamond of bars on cover to Rawalpindee. Both covers of good appearance (2 covers)

    Estimate: $120 Realised Price : $575

    1854 2a Green Typographed (SG 31) singles (4, margins close to touching) used with 1854 ½a Deep Blue Die I Lithograph, cancelled diamond of dots on large piece to U.K.

     

    Lot 990
    Estimate: $200 Realised Price : $150

    1856-1900 QV issues mostly used collection on pages, better stamps include 1865-64 No Wmk 2a Dull Pink and 4a Green, 1866 'POSTAGE opt on fiscal (defective), 1866-67 4a Die II, 6a8p mint, 1882-88 mint to 4a6p, 1895 25 and 5r used, and 3r mint (toned gum). Some faults but mostly good to fine (31 M, 69 U, 1 cover)

         

    Lot 991
    Estimate: $1,500

    1856-64 No Watermark ½a Blue Die I variety 'Imperforate' used on 1864 (8 Nov) native cover cancelled and tied by '72' duplex, arrival backstamp in red on reverse. The stamp has good even margins all round and gives every appearance of being a genuine usage of an imperforate stamp. SG 37a, cat £4,000 for used pair

    Estimate: $300 Realised Price : $340

    1902-37 KEVII and KGV collection on pages, 1902 KEVII mint to 1r, and used incl 2r, 3r, 5r and 15r, 1911-23 KGV incl 5r, 10r, 15r and 25r used, and 3p mint pair with 'Rs' variety, 1922 '¼' on ½a surcharge inverted mint pair, 1926-33 KGV incl 1a and 2a mint tete-beche blocks of 8, and 10r and 25r used, 1929 Airmail mint sets (2), and 8a mint par with variety 'Missing Tree Top' (cat £375), 1931 New Delhi incl varieties, also a few KGVI. Some faults but generally good to fine with useful pickings (91 M, 208 U)
