1915 (24 Jun) colourful patriotic postcard ('FLAGS UNFURLED FOR GLORIOUS FREEDOM') addressed to Adelaide with '3RD LIGHT HORSE/A.I.F./FIELD POST OFFICE' cds, and boxed 'PASSED BY/crown/No. 761/CENSOR in red. The writer says 'I lost a lot of blood from a bullet would in the head' and 'I am now Acting Commander of the Brigade as the Brigadier is away ill.'
